Ricks Chix
(What Did You Put in that PBJ?)
Ricks Chix
(What Did You Put in that PBJ?)
There's something about two little girls
They're not small girls, they're college ladies
That makes our stomachs go in whirls
Those butterflies are going crazy

What did you put in that P.B.J.?
We two-stepped at the Hogi Yogi
Hit it off that very day
You make my ex-girlfriend look grody
We were in to you with no delay
But you live so far away

You taught me how to eat my snack pack
Man that girl she's got some skills
I stared so hard I dropped my back pack
Hit Texas ground and still had chills
Ragen sang and I was butter
She and I could get along
I tried but all I did was stutter
Redeemed myself with this here song

What did you put in that P.B.J.?
We two-stepped at the Hogi Yogi
Hit it off that very day
You make my ex-girlfriend look grody
We were in to you with no delay
But you live so far away

Extraño el tiempo con las niñas
Nos divertimos cada dia
Queremos una cancionita
Estaremos esperando

What did you put in that P.B.J.?
We two-stepped at the Hogi Yogi
Hit it off that very day
You make my ex-girlfriend look grody
We were in to you with no delay
But you live so far away
The Lyrics.....
The Story.....
Paul:  Stop drop and roll 'cause we on fire!!
Jeff:  What's that from?
Paul:  I don't know, I made it up.
Paul and Jeff were like brothers.  What brought them together?
A girl.  Paul found out that a girl he was dating had a "crush" on
Jeff.  Paul was devastated, but Jeff, demonstrating the faithful
friend he would always be, didn't give the girl a second look.
The girl drifted from both their lives, but their friendship formed,
and became a strong bond that will last forever.

Paul and Jeff had many adventures.  One of these is described
by this song.  They went on a trip to Utah and Idaho.  They were
hanging out at the campus of Rick's College, when they met
these girls who were sitting outside their apartment.  The girls
invited them in for Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches (PBJ's),
and the boys were hooked-on the sandwiches and the girls.
They spent a few days hanging out with these "Ricks Chix" at
various places including Hogi Yogi.  They wrote this song for
them, and the rest is history.
Special Thanks to Bryce and Kelli Taylor for putting this song on CD for us!
